Stage Mothers presents a series of live music events featuring 4 - 6 Australian acts playing live at well known venues around the world under the banner ‘The Australian Music Collective Showcase’. The flagship event is the Aussie BBQ at SXSW music industry conference, an outdoor invitation only event which features 12 Australian showcase performances.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The World's Biggest Music Event

The South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media Conference showcases hundreds of musical acts from around the globe on over fifty stages in downtown Austin March 7 - 16, 2008.

By day, thousands of acts like Lou Reed, REM and The Black Crowes showcase their wears at private day parties. SXSW conference registrants do business at the Trade Show with a full agenda of informative and provocative panel discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature. By night hundreds of musical acts from around the globe showcase their talent on over fifty stages.

The Aussie BBQ is an invite only, all day Australian music showcase festival. It is the biggest showcase of Australian musical talent outside of Australia featuring 10 - 12 invited acts, hosted by Stage Mothers. This is the lynch pin event for an international tour across the U.S and UK showcasing Australian talent to the world.

 

 

 

The Australian Music Collective Showcase Guide

The Australian Music Collective Showcase Guide is the bible of the Stage Mothers tour, featuring profiles of all the bands, gig details and loads of Aussie music content. Around 20,000 copies are distributed to the music industry and fans at all the shows including the flagship SxSW Aussie BBQ and showcases in LA, New York and London. Limited advertising space is available.
