The intensive workshop will be held at the Salamanca Arts Centre from Friday 21st June to Friday 5th July 2013, during the closing weekend of the inaugural Dark MOFO in Hobart and the Tasmanian Wilderness.
‘This is a very exciting project that provides Early Career Artists with opportunities to create new works for multiple festivals, in Tasmania, across Australia and internationally’.
Salamanca Arts Centre’s CEO/Artistic Director, Rosemary Miller.
Pioneered by Carli Leimbach, SITUATE Art in Festivals is a Salamanca Arts Centre Project with the support of $250,000 from the Australia Council of the Arts to create a new platform for early career artists to develop artworks for diverse festivals.
