Curated by Serial Space, the inaugural TIME MACHINE festival presents time-based art forms including performance, installation, workshops, talks, and experimental music. The 12 day program presents works and performances from 45 Artists across 5 streams featuring gigs, talks, lab, performance and exhibition formats as well as a Festival Bar and official limited edition catalogue.
Serial Space is curatorial collective, a space and a community made up of 5 artists who have collectively curated the festival program including art, experimental music, electronic art, new media art and performance art. The Serial Space collective aims to support non-traditional practices and artists who undertake ambitious, non-commercial and experimental projects: Tom Smith, Jennifer Hamilton, Kate Blackmore, Pia van Gelder and Frances Barrett.
