RRR’s broad, low hype outlook on music covers most strains of dance, roots and hip hop through to indie and rock. The station is committed to supporting new and independent acts, both local and international, regardless of commercial potential.
OTHER PROGRAMING
Arts and local culture is well catered for with film reviews, daily gig guides and arts diaries, whilst specialist programming also covers topics such as science, food and gardening, and there’s a light-hearted medical show.
REGULAR EVENTS
Triple R present a number of gigs, local and international, each week, have connections with festivals and exhibitions, and produce their own irregular CD series featuring local artists. A yearly subscriber magazine called The Trip also carries sponsorship, while live-to-air performances and outside broadcasts are regular features.
